AN ARTISTIC CUISINE
“At the beginning cooking for me was certainly a nice work, yet practical, often
even mechanical, where the only purpose was “preparing and serving food”… Very
soon, thanks to the long time I spent working with the most famous Chefs in different
countries, I experienced a transformation in my way of cooking, from a simple
job to a kind of artistic arrangement where the dish began to have an esthetic
aspect I could not afford to neglect. The beauty of it all was that I myself,
with my own work, following my own taste, had the possibility to express my personal
mark. In this way the dish took on every time more specific and unique characteristics
until it eventually became for me – if so I may say – a “work of art”.
Corrado Fasolato
The cuisine by Corrado Fasolato is known as "Fusion" and is highly creative,
experimental and alternative. He offers dishes with delicate flavours and unusual
combinations in which the typical products of cuisine from the Veneto - and Venice
in particular - combine with the spices, aromas and colours of cooking from the
Orient and distant lands. A new cuisine, but rooted in tradition.
