CARNIVAL

On the occasion of Carnival, again this year the Metropole Hotel – a great passionate and participant to such a typically Venetian tradition since ever – will organize a gorgeous masked party on Friday, February 17th 2012. The theme of the party will be "Sailors, pirates, battles and whales". The breathtaking decorations -worthy of a movie set – will take guests into a dimension of adventure onboard of a pirate ship, among banners, trunks, cannons, binoculars and boating charts: with the mist of the sea and the sirens singing, characters dressed as sailors will wander in the lounges, men with blindfolded eye, hubs and captains, compasses and helms and a precious coffer full of golden coins…

The celebration will be made greater also by the live music by funny Strimpelli Orkestra, 8 musicians ready to flood the ship with Balkan music, Mexican mariachis, tarantas, pizzicas and famous songs reviews. Musicians and actors at the same time, who interact with the audience creating twists and improvisations.

In a delicious cocktail with a selection of hot dishes and canapés and a grand buffet, Guests will taste a cuisine which follows the regional tradition yet is revisited and presented in the most surprising and unexpected style. Price per person 120,00 euro wines included. Costume is obligatory.
