FILM FESTIVAL

This year, the 68th International Film Festival will take place at Lido di Venezia from August the 31st to September the 10th 2011. 
This event involves the city in a thousand different aspects of art, theatre and journalism, attracting not just famous actors, but also critics, journalists, the jet set and numerous enthusiastic and curious visitors.
For many years now, the Hotel Metropole has welcomed the illustrious guests who find there the oasis they need during the feverish exciting days. It provides a special shuttle service from the Hotel's water gate directly to the basin of the Hotel Excelsior at Lido, few steps from the famous Red Carpet, where VIPs parade.
