The public service is run by the ACTV company with the following lines:
- N° 51 from Ferrovia boat stop: approximately 30 minute journey.
The nearest stop to the Hotel is  San Zaccaria-Jolanda (approximately 200 metres from the Hotel).
- N. 2 From Ferrovia boat stop: approximately 40 minute journey: route along the Giudecca Canal (not the Grand Canal).
The nearest stop to the Hotel is San Zaccaria-Jolanda (approximately 200 metres from the Hotel).
The price is 6,50 € per person one-way including one piece of luggage

BY PRIVATE TRANSPORT- WATER TAXI
This is quickest and easiest way: you will enjoy the advantage of arriving by water taxi directly at the Metropole Hotel, using the canal entrance.
From Santa Lucia station: approximately 20 minute journey. 
The price is 65 € up to 4 people and 4 bags (only cash payment).
Between 10.00 p.m. to 7.00 a.m a surcharge will be added to the price of the journey.

On request the Hotel Metropole will be glad to arrange a transfer by water taxi on your arrival at the station, with a person waiting for you.
